Three workshops, each powerful on its own. Together, they create a complete, easy-to-digest birth education series designed to help you understand how birth works, learn practical tools, and feel more prepared for however your birth unfolds.
What makes our workshops different? We believe birth education should be informative, empowering, and even fun. There is no agenda here—just the information, tools, and support you need to make informed choices and feel confident in your own unique birth experience.
$110 per workshop or $270 for the complete series.
How Birth Works
Understanding + Preparing for Labor
August 15th | 1 – 4pm | with Janine & Jessica
How Birth Works is a clear, evidence-based class designed to help you understand the process of labor—so you can approach birth feeling informed, prepared, and confident.
In this class, we’ll explore:
- The stages of labor and what happens during each
- How labor progresses and the physiology of birth
- Typical contraction patterns and what they mean
- What to expect across different birth settings
- Practical ways to prepare—physically and mentally

You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how birth unfolds, along with tangible tools to support your body and mind through the experience.
Comfort + Positioning
for Labor + Birth
August 29th | 1 – 4pm | with Janine & Jessica
his 3-hour workshop focuses on comfort measures and optimal positioning and will leave you feeling prepared and supported during each stage of your upcoming birth!
Expect to gain an understanding of:
- Each stage of labor and birth
- What’s happening in your body
- Practical coping tools
- Partner support techniques
- How baby positioning works and why it matters
- Simple ways to support optimal alignment

Build Your Birth Plan
September 19th | 1 – 4pm | with Janine & Jessica
Gain clarity on your labor options, including their benefits and potential risks. Leave this workshop feeling confident with your choices and a completed birth plan in hand!
This workshop will cover:
- Understanding induction + bishop score
- Options for early, active, transition + pushing
- Interventions, their benefits + risks

Newborn Essentials

This workshop will give you a solid foundation to feel confident caring for your newborn!

Breastfeeding Basics
Breast, Bottle & Pumping Essentials
August 20th | 6 – 7:30pm | with Heather Elkins, JD, IBCLC
Breastfeeding Basics: Breast, Bottle & Pumping Essentials is a practical, judgment-free class designed to help new and expecting parents feel confident feeding their baby.
We’ll cover how breastfeeding works, what to expect in the early days, how to get a comfortable latch, and how to know your baby is getting enough milk. You’ll also learn when and how to introduce a bottle, the basics of pumping and milk storage, and how to make a feeding plan that fits your family’s needs.
Whether you plan to exclusively breastfeed, combine breast and bottle, or just want to understand your options, this class will give you the knowledge and reassurance to start your feeding journey with confidence.
Starting Solids
A Workshop on Beginning Solid Foods
TBD | with Becky Cohen, RDN
This 75-minute workshop will cover the basics of introducing solid foods to your little one. We’ll chat about how to tell when your baby is ready for solids, feeding methods (baby-led weaning vs. spoon-feeding), and your baby’s nutritional needs.
This workshop is for expecting parents, anyone with a baby who hasn’t yet started solids, or anyone who has started but needs some support. Babies and partners are welcome!
Led by Becky Cohen, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Becky has a background in pediatric nutrition and firsthand experience with her two littles!
